As the holiday season kicks into high gear, we understand that many of you may already be embracing the festive spirit; whether it’s traveling, planning get-togethers, or gearing up for some well-deserved relaxation, here’s a quick rundown of what’s happening at Stronger Faster:
🌟 Introducing Larissa:
We’re excited to introduce you to our latest addition to the coaching team, Larissa!
A bit about Larissa: She is a seasoned coach passionate about empowering individuals on their health and fitness journey. With coaching experience since 2012, Larissa holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from UIW and is a certified CrossFit Level 2 trainer. Her entrepreneurial journey began in 2010, focusing on nutrition and fitness to guide others towards their healthiest selves.
From coaching and public speaking to nutrition education programs and small business mentoring, she juggles multiple ventures with a singular mission — to empower people to live happier and healthier lives.
Outside the world of fitness and business, Larissa finds joy in her beloved puppy, Lili, indulging in wine and her newfound passion for bread making. With a zest for life, she continues to inspire and uplift others in their pursuit of wellness.

📅 Holiday Hours:
With the holiday season approaching, we’ll have updated hours to accommodate your festivities. Please check the website schedule and the Wodify app for the latest on our holiday schedule adjustments to plan your workouts accordingly. We are closed on Christmas Day, with the 9 am class only on the day after Christmas or Boxing Day for those from the Commonwealth and New Year’s Day.

🏃 Race Prep Workouts:
Get ready for upcoming fitness races! With various races this spring, such as triathlons, marathons, Spartans, Hyrox, and OCR, we have added more cardio workouts on Saturdays and suggest easy Sunday runs. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or just starting, these sessions will help you build a solid base for race day.
🌍 Travel Workout Tips:
Heading out of town? Use the Wodify App to see our programmed workouts to replicate as best you can at another gym, or use some of these travel workouts.
- 10 Rounds for Time
- 45 minute Run – Every 5 minutes – 10 Pushups, 10 Air Squats
- 5 Rounds for time
50 High Knees
40 Russian Twists (find a weight or object to use)
20 Jumping Lunges
- 10 Rounds for Time
5 Pull Ups (10 sit-ups if no access to a bar)
10 Push Ups
15 Air Squats
- Hill Repeats
1 mile warmup
10x hill repeats (run up, walk down) 2 flights of stairs work (run or walk stairs)
1 mile cooldown
- 3 Rounds
50 Air Squats
50 (25/25) Lateral Lunges
15 Diamond Push-ups
40 Split Squats (20 per leg, not alternating)
Stay active while you travel with the Wodify app to see daily workouts and the above travel workout suggestions, or try to go for a daily walk/hike and stay active as much as possible.
