We hope this newsletter finds you well and motivated to continue your fitness journey. We have some important updates and exciting events to share with you:
1. Farewell to Coach Kirk: It is with mixed emotions that we announce Coach Kirk’s departure from Stronger Faster Houston. After being a valued member of our team since 2017, his last day with us will be this Thursday as he moves back to coaching competitive CrossFit. Join us in bidding him farewell during his last class at 5 pm. We will have Eight Brewing Company present to make the occasion memorable. Coach Kirk will be missed, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors.
2. Memorial Day Special Hours and Murph Workout: On Memorial Day, we will have a modified schedule with only one class at 9 am. We invite you to participate in the Murph workout, a challenging yet rewarding fitness tradition. Learn more about the Murph workout [here]. We will open early at 830a for warm-ups and stay open past 10 am accommodate everyone.
3. Successful Stretch Session with Megan: A big thank you to everyone who attended the special stretch session led by Megan. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we appreciate your participation. If you’d like to see more of these events in the future, please let us know your interest and preferred days/times. We value your input and strive to provide activities that enhance your fitness experience. Megan works at MyFitFoods and can hook you up with discounts on their meals. If you are looking for a ‘do it for you’ meal prep, they are a great option.
4. Challenge Results: Congrats to Kirk and Corey on winning the double under challenge: We want to recognize and congratulate all of you who participated in our recent mini-challenge. Special recognition goes to Corey and Rachel for their impressive back-and-forth performance on the challenge leaderboard. Your dedication and commitment continue to inspire us all! These mini-challenges are a great way to push yourself or step out of your comfort zone. Like many of you, I really improved on my double-unders only because of this challenge.
We appreciate your ongoing support and participation in the Stronger Faster Houston community. If you have any questions, suggestions, or feedback, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Together, we will achieve new heights of fitness and strength.
Stay strong (er), and keep pushing forward!
