Beat the Heat and Stay Hydrated!

As you ‘enjoy’ the warmer weather, it’s crucial to prioritize hydration and adjust your workout intensity to cope with the summer heat. Staying properly hydrated helps maintain energy levels, supports muscle function, and prevents heat-related illnesses. Aim to drink water before, during, and after your workouts. Bring a refillable bottle to use our chilled filtered water. We also have cold drinks available for sale.

When it comes to dealing with the heat, it’s essential to prioritize self-care and safety. Incorporate more rest breaks into your routine, and most importantly, listen to your body. If needed, don’t hesitate to scale back. Remember, staying safe and healthy is the key to maintaining your fitness goals throughout the summer.

Congratulations to Eli for winning the hang pull-up challenge, hanging on for more than 3 minutes and 6 pull-ups! And a huge congrats to Lacey for her back-to-back win on the women’s side! Keep pushing your limits, and let’s see who takes the title on our next challenge!
