Stay Safe and Healthy This 4th of July: Tips and Upcoming Events at Stronger Faster Gym

Celebrate the 4th of July Safely

Hey Stronger Faster Family!

As we gear up to celebrate the 4th of July today, we want to wish you a fantastic holiday filled with fun, laughter, and memorable moments. Whether you’re spending the day with family or friends or taking some well-deserved “you” time, we’ve got some tips to help you make the most of it.

Fourth of July Tips:

  • Beat the Heat: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, and consider enjoying high-water-content fruits like watermelon to stay cool.
  • Stay Safe on the Roads: If you plan to drink, please use Uber or a designated driver or stay off the roads. Many people who don’t usually drink might be out and about, making the streets even less safe.
  • Healthy Eating Balance: It’s okay to indulge a little – it’s a holiday! If you usually avoid sweets, try having one special treat instead of several. You are not in the Nathan’s Hotdog eating contest. Enjoy the festivities, but keep portion sizes in check. Same with alcohol, many have to work tomorrow.
  • Sun Protection: Protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays is essential. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen and reapply it throughout the day. Consider wearing a hat and UV-protective clothing for added safety.
  • Fireworks Safety: If you plan to set off fireworks, keep a water bucket nearby and never light them in your hands. Safety should always be a priority to avoid any unnecessary risks and ensure a fun and safe celebration.

Reminder: Join Us for Our Pool Party on Saturday, 7/13!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 13th, and prepare for an afternoon of fun in the sun! Our pool party kicks off at noon until we decide to wrap up. We’ll start serving food at 1 PM, and it’s BYOB (please, no glass bottles).
