With summer approaching, May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month – an important reminder to stay protected from the sun’s harmful rays. Be sure to: -Apply broad spectrum sunscreen SPF 30 or higher -Reapply sunscreen every 2 hours when outdoors -Wear sun-protective clothing and accessories -See a dermatologist annually for a skin check Preventing skin cancer should be a priority year-round, but this month is a great time to reinforce those healthy sun safety habits. |
