Happy Mother’s Day & Stretch Session on Saturday!

We hope this newsletter finds you well and crushing your fitness goals as we enter Week 7 this cycle and remind everyone that we have a special stretch session this weekend.

On this Mother’s Day, let’s take a moment to thank all the moms and step-moms out there for their love and support, and for those who may not have a mom in their life, let’s cherish the memories and celebrate the mother figures that have made a positive impact on our lives. We wanted to remind you to call them and tell them thanks (and don’t forget to brag about your #gains).

We’re excited to remind everyone that our special stretch session is this Saturday, May 20th, after open gym. The session is open to members* and non-members (and moms), and it’s only $10. Stretching is an important component of any fitness routine, as it can help with mobility and overall health. So, join us and take advantage of this opportunity to stretch and relax your muscles after a great workout. You can pay online or pay at the door. Please reserve your spot in Wodify, or email us to reserve a spot. This is an excellent opportunity for a coach-led yoga-style stretch session to use in your daily or weekly stretch routine.

Additionally, we want to remind you about the importance of consistency when it comes to achieving your muscle and strength gains (you should call your moms consistently too). It’s not just about showing up to the gym but consistently showing up and doing the work. Whether you’re a new member or a seasoned veteran, consistency is key to reaching your fitness goals. If you haven’t seen someone at the gym in a while, I encourage you to reach out and check in on them (after you call your mom or a motherly figure in your life). We are a community, and the support of one another goes a long way.

Lastly, we want to congratulate everyone who participated in our 2-minute double-under challenge, which ends on Monday, May 15th. We’re proud of the progress everyone has made in learning to do double-unders. (I think I have finally turned the corner and can say I can sort of do double-unders now). Keep up the hard work, and know that we’re here to support you every step of the way.
